My boys, especially my eldest, have loved pirate things on and off for years. Sometimes it’s Harry Potter, sometimes it’s Star Wars, and we did have an Indiana Jones phase, but pirates are pretty reliable favourites in our house.
Here’s a some great pirate gear for your little landlubbers:
Super handy for those minor bumps and bruises that all children get, the Boo Boo Buddy can stay in the freezer ready for the next accident! Just $9.95, which little boy wouldn’t be instantly cheered by a pirate on his knee?
Tired of pastel and cutsie baby gear? Go all Rock Chic with this orthodontic dummy from Rock Star Baby. You can even co-ordinate with matching Rock Star pirate bottles! Dummies are $14.95, available in two sizes, 0-3 months, and 3-24 months. Naturally, they’re BPA free and meet all Australian and European safety standards.
Great little wooden pirate stamps are self inking, so you don’t need to worry about getting hold of a stamp pad, too. At just $1.95, they make great party gifts or stocking fillers. There are fairy ones, too, if you have little ones who aren’t into pirates!
Classic boys’ toy! Large wooden pirate ship comes complete with pirates, treasure and even a parrot. $61.95 at Hello Charlie.
The littlest pirates may like a wooden pram string from Hess Spielzeug. Great for keeping them entertained while they’re still facing backwards in the car seat, too. $33.95 at Hello Charlie.
