What size should you choose in Seventh Generation nappies?
Seventh Generation nappies are sized by pounds rather than kilograms, which can be confusing for those of us who work better in metric!
Here’s our handy guide to the nappy sizing of Seventh Gen.
|Seventh Generation Nappy||Pounds||Kilos|
|Stage 1 Nappies||8 to 14||4 to 6|
|Stage 2 Nappies||12 to 18||5 to 8|
|Stage 3 Nappies||16 to 28||7 to 13|
|Stage 4 Nappies||22 to 37||10 to 17|
|Stage 5 Nappies||27 plus||12 plus|
|Training Pants 3T-4T||32 to 40||14.5 to 18|
|Training Pants 4T-5T||38 plus||17 plus|
We do find that the Seventh Generation nappies run a little on the small side, so you’re best to size up if you’re not sure or if your baby is on the outer range of these nappies.
For newborns under 3kgs, Seventh Generation do have a newborn size, but it’s not available in Australia. You may want to have a look at the Bambo Newborn nappies instead, as these are sized from 2 to 4 kgs.
Of course, you can always try one of our eco nappy sample packs if you need to see them before you commit to buying a full pack or carton.
