Jellystone Designs has a range of silicone jewellery designed for mums to wear, but for teething babies to chew on.
The collection uses hospital grade silicone that’s free from:
- bisphenol-a (BPA);
- cadmium; and
I love that you can clean it with soapy water, pop it in the dishwasher, or even just with a baby wipe.
Jellystone Designs necklaces and pendants come with a pop clasp designed to break away when baby pulls too hard, so you’re not going to get choked when small hands pull the necklace while trying to get it down to their mouths! For safety reasons, you shouldn’t leave baby unsupervised with the necklaces (because of the length of the cord).
The Jellystone Designs silicone bracelet, however, is specifically designed to be safe for baby to be left alone with. There’s no small parts or problems with cords on the bracelet, and in my opinion, this makes it the best piece of all to have. It’s a great looking bracelet in it’s own right, too.
To see how the jewellery works, and how it fits on a real person, have a look at the Hello Charlie video where Vanessa unboxes the range and tries it on.
